Practical Occupational Therapy
for Everyday Life
Helping people build independence, confidence and everyday skills
Based in Adelaide, South Australia, Mind OT provides practical, community-based Occupational Therapy for adults and older adolescents experiencing mental health conditions, psychosocial disability and complex support needs.
We work alongside people in their homes and communities to understand how mental health, cognition and individual circumstances impact everyday life. Our focus is on practical strategies that build independence, strengthen routines, develop confidence and support meaningful participation at home and in the community.
Occupational Therapy is about more than completing assessments. Alongside comprehensive, evidenced based functional assessments and reports, we provide ongoing therapy focused on developing practical skills and strategies that can be used where they matter most - in everyday life.
At Mind OT, we believe therapy should be practical, collaborative and focused on what matters most to each person.
Our approach is calm, consistent and down-to-earth. We take the time to understand each person’s goals, challenges and environment, then work together on practical strategies that make a real difference in everyday life.
Whether it’s building routines, improving problem-solving skills, increasing independence, or supporting families and support teams, our focus is on strategies that work in real life.
